What makes you trust somone even after they have hurt you?
Cuentas
it was something that was almost like looking into someone from some other time, some other you, or some other me, like looking at a friend who I’ve always loved… like looking at someone who I am deliriously happy is back from wherever they were…

Simply your Heart and the feelings that you once had for them
and why would you want to do that? It's probably wise to stick to a (1 or 2) strike, you are out policy.
Since it was a pretty huge strike I am not sure I could trust again like that ... take time to think about what you want and knowing what you do know, what value does this person bring ? If you find something cool ... if not then make a choice on how to handle it. And when all else fails, we drink together and stay up all night.
gee, this sounds like a big incident; I hope you are OK.
babe - hope you are doing okay, but i would totally agree with Jen
Honestly is such a lonely word
the appoligy has been said, he is willing to tast drastic measures to fix it....
now what....
i am ok though. thanks dody
I usually use the Jerry Springer rule of thumb. If this thing would make a good show on Jerry Springer, it's a lost cause. Accept the apology and burn the darn bridge.
Otherwise, do nothing for a while and let time pass to give you time-marinated perspective on the whole issue; by then you'll know what to do.
I love you.
well kaitlin i guess dody answered your question.
cases similar to your have been on Jerry Springer, Ricki Lake AND Montel wiliams.
we have a saying in arabic, the tail of the dog will never be straight.

sometimes the hurt and the trust go too deep, and its' just not worth it

It is a scary world out there...and also a beautiful, exciting adventure. It's hard to leave a comfort zone, especially in your situation. Just try to think about what you want in the end...
A delicious bass.
